The Wisconsin Elks Association, Elks members, local lodges and the national organization support youth in a wide variety of ways. The programs listed here are only part of the help available. Contact your local lodge to learn more about how we can help.

The annual free throw contest begins at your local lodge and continues through district, state and regional competition until the national finals.

Scholarships

The Elks offer a variety of scholarship opportunities through several programs, with the largest being the Most Valuable Student Scholarship, which grants 500 national awards each year. By applying, applicants are also eligible for scholarships awarded annually by the Wisconsin Elks Association.

Additionally, many local lodges have a scholarship program and the Legacy Awards are available for children and grandchildren of Elks Members.

The Wisconsin Elks Association also awards technical college scholarships each year and the form can be found here.

Drug Awareness

The Elks National Drug Awareness program is the largest volunteer-led initiative of its kind in the United States. Volunteers at local lodges in Wisconsin provide free drug awareness programs and materials to their communities. There also is an annual drug awareness essay contest to further engage youth in drug prevention efforts.
